CrossFit Midtown, Ironclad CrossFit, and supporting CrossFit gyms, are hosting a HERO WOD. In honor of SSG. Alex Viola. SSG Viola was killed in action in Afghanistan by an Improvised Explosive Device on the 17th of November 2013. Not only was Viola a hero he was a cherished and loved CrossFit coach at Ironclad.

Join us on Saturday November 15, 2014 as we do a hero WOD "AV" to honor Alex Viola. We will do the WOD at all of the classes that day and then throw some food on the grill at noon. Come out and join us as we honor this fallen hero.

On a personal note, Coach Dyer's cousin is running this event. He served with Alex and runs Ironclad Crossfit in Destin. So, we would greatly appreciate your support by at least doing the WOD with us and by encouraging others to join us on Saturday.

There is a $60 prize for each of the top male and top female scores on this WOD and $40 for each of the 2nd place male and 2nd place female. There will be a cookout afterwards with burgers, hotdogs, beer and wine, for everyone who registers.

-- The only rule for the prizes is that you have to actually register and do the WOD with us on Saturday. It costs $26.62 to register.

So lets all work hard and honor our fallen brother. All donations earned during this charity W.O.D are going to THE GREEN BERET FOUNDATION and to TASKFORCE DAGGER.
